Summary
I Have Sinned has been nominated for the 2019 Kindle Storyteller Award.
Bunny McGarry has finally got a lead in his mission to find the Sisters of the Saint, but the lead, one Father Gabriel de Marcos, isn’t willing to play ball. Desperate times call for desperate measures and Bunny has to put the padre under surveillance with a little help from some old friends. Father Gabriel runs a boxing club at the bad end of the Bronx, battling to keep kids out of gangs - noble, thankless work. Thing is, saints don’t typically have assassins sent after them. What sins are hidden in the padre’s mysterious past?
The Sisters of the Saint are many things but pushovers they ain’t. To regain their trust, Bunny must save the priest from the demons that are on his tail. Keeping the cantankerous priest alive would be difficult for anyone, never mind that Bunny has to resist the urge to kill him himself. He has to manage all this while living under the rules that chill him to the very bone. No drinking. No swearing. No violence.
I Have Sinned is book two in the McGarry Stateside series, a continuation of the smash hit Dublin Trilogy which also featured Bunny McGarry. It melds high-octane action with a distinctly Irish acerbic wit.

Another Entertaining Romp with Bunny
Morgan C Jones is a masterful narrator of this continuing yarn featuring our favourite foul - mouthed Irishman on the loose in the USA. Bunny seems like a man easily distracted and, great though the story was, I dropped it a star out of frustration. Spoiler alert. Does anyone remember Simone? Spare a thought for the poor woman who was the very reason he was there in the first place. Not to mention the one armed FBI Agent who seems to be taking a holiday. However, Bunny has been busy with a quite excellent set of villains, some badass nuns and a motley crew of helpers. I'm sure book three will wrap it all up, I just hope Bunny stays alive long enough to enjoy it.

Laughed my head off!
I have to admit that I had been a little disappointed with the book before this one but my goodness this has made up for it. I listened to it driving to and from work and it made me laugh out loud . I love the narration and applaud Morgan C Jones for bringing so many characters to life.

Funny good verses evil
A lesson in how best to make a social statemment with humour. Without the funny bits this would have been too dark and violent, bur the author managed to make this story of poverty and gang violence both entertaining and unputdownable

A step up in writing and performance
Morgan C Jones has to be one of the best audio performers out there. Good pace, clear diction and a variety of distinctive voices across a range of age, gender and nationality.
Mind you, he has great material to work with. A tight story with accessible chatacters. Jokes, tension and a real sense of danger. I absolutely loved this.

Why is a headline now required?
Why can't I just leave stars? Believe me, if I feel up to writing a long winded review,... I will!! Stop forcing users to have to write actual words instead of just leaving a starred review like before!! Fml!

Brilliant Bunny McGarry story… another Ciamh winner
Another great mix of dark humour and laugh out loud moments from Ciamh McDonnell, with twists and turns all over.
Not one for the kids but if you like an off-beat story then this series is for you.
Reading the Dublin Trilogy first isn’t a must but worth it for the laughs.
