About this listen
He’s an escaped slave whose thoughts are not his own. She’s a knight who has defeated Sorcerers. When their paths collide, can they save two worlds from deadly darkness?
Azaeli Hammerfel has been named a knight and is thrilled to be on her first true quest alongside her parents' guild. Their journey to see Prince Eron and his expecting wife safely to Lake Kordelya is shrouded with a sense of impending doom that tests the strength of His Majesty's Elite and the love that Azi and Rian, the Mage, share. When Kythshire's fairies find themselves a target of the same threat, an unlikely champion presents himself.
Tib Nullen has had a hard life. He's just 12 years old, but as a field slave in the Sorcerer-run country of Sunteri, he has seen more toil, loss, and cruelty than anyone should be made to endure. When tragedy strikes his family, Tib finds himself flung into a plot much bigger than he. In his struggle to make sense of his thoughts, which he fears are not fully his own, he learns he has a greater purpose: to help restore the Wellspring of Sunteri.
Sorcery, Dreamwalking, Necromancy, and mystery fill the plot of Call of Sunteri, the second book of the Keepers of the Wellsprings series by Missy Sheldrake.

YA High fantasy read
Call of Sunteri takes place after Call of Kythshire. New characters are introduced, I love Tib so much, probably because I emphasise with his characterisms the most, from all 5 books.
I adore Missy's writing. It's layered and weaved with perfection. When you think you have it all figured out there is another surprise in store, the world-building has a richness to it without being heavy.
These books do faeries right; cheeky, fun, mischievous, kind-hearted, some a little hot headed haha! You have every kind you could hope and wish for appearing throughout the book/series. You won't be dissapointed and I'm sure you will have your favourites 😉 I love it when they are in a scene together, so much fun.
The audio makes the characters come to life and is so well done. I loved that we had Penny and Andrew voicing the characters this time. It added another dimension to the book and characters. Both are very talented and I am forever amazed at all the character voices they create.
If you like Knights, Fairies, Royalty, Mages, Sorcerers, Dreamscout's, Dreamwalkers, well look no further. This series has it all plus more 🤩
