couldn't finish.
I don't know if it's the narrator's meek voice or the fact that the book seems to have been written by a fourteen-year-old. The MC is super weakly written, where her only trait is biting her lips and being weak and timid. The men are all "bad guys" and I just got sick of the whole wife beater vibe I got from them. I honestly can't believe this book is for real.

I found this to be an odd book. It doesn't really go anywhere. It's all quite static. A friendship grows, but they don't really trust each other. When Vhalla seems to be fighting deeper feelings, he does too, kind of, but he still seems to have schemes in play. I don't know. It seemed like it was a lot of words for not much pay off.🤷🏻♀️
A good audiobook.🎧👏
