Understanding teens
As I sometimes interact with kids at work, I’ve found myself feeling uncertain about how best to support them, especially as they navigate the complexities of adolescence. This book provided me with both practical advice and emotional reassurance, making me feel more confident in my role as a caretaker. What I liked most was how it emphasized understanding teens' perspective - reminding me that, neurodivergent or not, teenagers all experience similar struggles with independence, identity, and social challenges.

High Functioning Teen
I struggled a lot when I was a teen with bullying, and I did not know how to solve bullying problems. I had to report it to a teacher or school principal for unsafe students. The audiobook provides a guide to solving bullying, as well as anxiety and depression. Although I never experienced anxiety or depression, I had friends who had those issues. I agree with the author that knowledge is power, and the more we read, the more skills we have to overcome challenges that might arise in our school journey. I can build a relationship with my teen with the audiobook guide, and It's beneficial.

Great guide for parents
This book contains some very good tips for parents, especially for those who are looking to be better support to their teens. It's full of practical ways to help them develop social skills and build confidence, which many teens are decidedly lacking. The advice is down to earth and easy to apply. This stage of a teenager's life is difficult for parents to navigate, so this book is a valuable read to understanding their teen without being patronising.

A Great Book !
As a parent of a high-functioning teen, I've always wondered why things sometimes felt a bit different for them. This book really helped me understand what was going on. It talked about neurodiversity, which is basically saying everyone's brain is a little bit different. If you're a parent of a high-functioning teen or tween, I highly recommend this audiobook. It's like having a friend who understands and can offer helpful advice.
