Very Helpful!!
Written for people who would prefer to improve their mental health without resorting to medication, this book is a great guide towards that aim. One of the chapters in it talks about creating a safe space which some therapists need reminding to teach. It also has a comprehensive approach on how to start and maintain mindfulness-based trauma-informed yoga practices, which is what makes it special. Moreover, besides individual healing, the book explains why practicing empathy and understanding birthed within an embodied worldview is critical for reconnecting and healing. I loved reading it so much and has already benefited me greatly.
