Great Book
Really enjoyed the book could not stop listening. Listened to most of R R Haywood books and they are all great!! Have a listen before the computers take over!

Spectacular story told impeccably well
Haywood is a master at writing relatable characters which are complex, flawed, gifted and believable.
The narrative is told from different perspectives but never seems disjointed. Flowing seamlessly, with twists and turns that are anticipated but never predictable.
You know something is going to happen, you can feel the tension rise but when it does it is a complete surprise which direction it takes the plot. I really enjoyed this rollercoaster ride.
I also enjoyed the themes of power, wealth and privilege played out against those disenfranchised, disempowered and in poverty.
This is a book demonstrating a deep understanding of today's political, socioeconomic and cultural issues and how they relate to different demographics. However this book is not a mere statement on current affairs. its dark, gritty, violent, real, funny, witty, gripping and most importantly it's a dam good story told really bloody well.

Another hit
Hayward’s imagination is unbelievable. Sucked in from the first minute with characters that one can relate to. Finished in a few days. Cannot wait for book 2.
