Achievable Gardening in Small Spaces
I just finished listening to "The Complete Container Gardening Handbook." This book was perfect for me as I live in a condo and have always wanted to plant a garden but didn't think I had enough room. This book let me know it was achievable. The section on soil essentials was very good. It shares what you should do to the soil to make it optial for best plant growth. I also enjoyed the section on composting, and I learned about recycling my kitchen waste. I also loved the recipes for the fruit and veggies that I can grow. How fun will making something for the people I love right out of my garden be? I have much to learn about container gardening, but this book was a quick jump start. I highly recommend this book!

The Easy Way to Start Container Gardening
If you’re itching to turn that small space on your patio, balcony or living room into a lush, green haven, this book is the way to go. It’s packed with practical advice and inspiring stories that make you feel like you can do it too.
The first thing that grabbed me was how it breaks down container gardening into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Whether you're a newbie or just looking to up your gardening game, this book has got you covered.
Here are a few sections that really stood out to me:
1. The book gives you enough information to grow a variety of plants while keeping pests and diseases in check.
2. It walks you through evaluating your space, picking the right containers, and figuring out the best spots for your plants. It even talks about growing plants vertically to save space.
3. The book shows you how to keep soil healthy and how to make your own compost.
4. It goes into some detail of designing your container garden to make your container garden look amazing using a pleasing combination of colours, textures, and shapes.
5. The book shows you how to grow your own food, and even how to use companion planting to boost your harvest.
In terms of the audiobook, I wasn’t sure that something as technical as container gardening would work well as an audiobook. The verdict is that it worked surprisingly well. The narrator is clear, and the book is easy to follow in audio format. The author includes a downloadable PDF document that you can use as a reference for all of the technical detail about soil conditions, plants selection, and so forth—which is super useful!
In short, this book has everything you need to get started in container gardening. If you want to transform your small space into a thriving green sanctuary, I highly recommend listening to this book.

Sooo needed this!
This book was exactly what I needed as a beginner. I live in the city and have a small balcony that I didn't think I could do much with, but this book showed me otherwise! It covers literally everything - from choosing the right plants and containers to soil health and pest management. The step by step instructions are easy to follow, and I appreciated the tips on avoiding common mistakes. The bonus section with recipes using ingredients from your garden is a nice touch and got me excited about my harvest! Highly recommend for anyone new to container gardening.

Tons of Useful Gardening Wisdom
I shared this with my Dad, and after listening to it, he realized the mistakes he had made why his garden vegetables this year were undernourished! As for me, I learned best practices on composting and companion planting. We are now armed with better knowledge to prepare for a bountiful harvest next year. This is highly recommended for those wishing to become green thumbs in their backyard garden.
