Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
Sometimes a woman has to take matters into her own hands...
Sally never meant to cave her husband's head in with a skillet. Or at least she didn't until suddenly, she did.
But Sally isn't the only woman in town being pushed to breaking point. When coincidence brings four strangers together, a surprising solidarity is formed.
So can they find the best way to bury their husbands - and get away with it?

Great storyline
I really enjoyed the story line. Well written, some tongue in cheek but enjoyable. I wasn’t a fan of the narration sadly. Ruth’s voice in particular was just odd, and thought it could have been brought to life better with a narrator who could really nail the different characters.
A great book to read though, hence the five stars.

Good story
The narration to this book is awful. I enjoyed the plot but was so distracted by the main character. I still hear her peculiar tone as I drift off to sleep at night. Harrowing stuff.

Funny and Sad
Funny when abusive husbands were satisfyingly killed, sad when remembering the abuse suffered. What harrowing adventures these women have, and what poignant emotions this story evokes.

Funny and emotional
A well written funny book but also incredibly thought provoking and sensitive.
A difficult topic written about so sensitively giving a perspective few acknowledge.
