Critic reviews

"This book is inspiring. Against a backdrop of beautiful art, Danny Penman's gentle words explain clearly how breathing, known since ancient times as the foundation for living mindfully, can become, for any of us, a way to reclaim our lives." (Mark Williams, Emeritus Professor of Clinical Psychology, University of Oxford)

A brilliant introduction to mindfulness

Mindfulness gives me the opportunity to take a step back, clear my head of unhelpful thoughts, and emerge with composure and, given time, insight. This book is an excellent introduction and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

This author was recommended to me by my therapist and I can see why. This book is well written and accessible, without being patronising

Life Changing!

I will listen to this audio book regularly because the simple teachings can literally make you more mindful and less stressed. I have begun observing people around me and realised how unhappy so many are. Returning to a natural, healthy state of breathing a few times per day can have dramatic effects on your health & wellbeing.

A journey with someone who knows the way.

Loved it. Doable and not intimadating. Meditations at the end a bonus. Complements the book.

Excellent!

A short book which I found extremely helpful.

There are many books claiming to help with breathing or mindfulness, I have tried many. But this is the only one that I have found to be helpful with calming and focusing on my breath.

Recommend for sure.

Mike Winsborrow

I loved the audio book Danny. I've been listening to it as I go to bed. I rarely make 15 minutes before your very soothing voice tips me into sleep. I think I will need to listen many many times to hear the entire book. Great bedtime listening.
