Summary

Enjoyable, if a little lengthy
I already like Mary Balogh books and have ready probably most of them. This isn't my favourite series, but it's enjoyable anyway.
As usual, Rosalyn Landor is the perfect narrator and as we know, the narrator can make or break a book - wait until you get to book 3... Overall I'd recommend the series

Couldn't stop listening
Would highly recommend and well worth your credit. Rosalyn land or is just a superb narrator and Mary balogh made this fact passed, exciting and with an unexpected ending!

Delicious
One of Mary Balogh's better novels. Great story, a tiny bit of spice and a wonderfully arrogant hero. Rosalyn Landor has also not overdone the treacle this time.

Tempestuous Romance
The story is totally improbable. However, it is written so well and I enjoyed the class of wills between the hero and heroine.
This being one of Mary Balogh’s older books, the hero is less PC but it is probably a more realistic representation of a man in regency times and with this kept in mind the book was thoroughly enjoyable.

Briiliant!
As usual Mary Balogh’s story is well worth the read with thoughtful layered characters and well plotted storyline. Rosalyn Landor does an excellent job of voicing all the characters.

More than a mistress
However many times I read this book I never get tired of the story.
I love the interaction between Jane and the Duke and the silliness of the ton in those times!
I think to me this is one of my top ten stories
and can commend Rosalyn Landor's excellent reading, the way she portrays each character
Is exactly how I imagined their voices to be!
A very enjoyable read!

Bought for the narrator. Wasn't disappointed
Rosalyn Landor could read the phone directory out and I would probably still listen! Great story, beautifully read. Felt the ending was a little bit rushed but otherwise a nicely crafted narrative. Downloaded after listening to Rosalyn narrate Julia Quinn novels but will definitely try more by this author now.
