Summary
Alastair and Fiona are betrothed, yet Alastair, successor to the Lairdship of Aberdeen, is rebelling against the arranged marriage. Spoiled and entitled, Fiona desperately clings to Alastair. For if she cannot have him, no one else will.
When Alastair meets his mother's new maid, Aileen, his heart feels a passion that he has never felt for Fiona. But as successor to the Lairdship, he brushes aside his feelings, preparing for his wedding to a woman he will never love.
But Fiona has noticed the way he looks at Aileen and concocts a plan of her own. When Alastair finds out, he is devastated, but he knows there was nothing he could have done to avoid the outcome. Or was there?

Wonderful Highland book!
I loved listening to this Highland book! Another great narration by Andrew and incredible story by Blair! Very clean and romantic story of Alastair and Fiona....or is it Aileen?

An Unexpected Love
It's wonderful to listen to a story where the man takes charge and steps up to the plate...even when protocols insist that he do otherwise. People should always be able to marry for love...not what someone else's rules dictate. A wonderful listen. The narrator is excellent at distinguishing the characters and keeping the story flowing smoothly. It's a welcome reprieve after a hectic day!

HEA
In this audiobook opposites attract as far as class. Allistir was set to marry Fiona, even though he did not love her. Fiona wasn't able.to hide her true self and alienated Allistir. In walks Eileen, the baker's daughter and you have a love triangle. You must listen to find out who ends up together and how. The narrator has a sexy accent and made it hard to stop listening. great job

Charming romance
Blair Keith has produced a charming romance and Andrew McDermott does a wonderful job with the narration. Not only does he have a pleasant voice for the general narration; it is also easy to distinguish the different characters where there is dialogue. An enjoyable listen.
