A coffee is more than just a morning pick-me-up; it's a journey. A journey that starts with a humble coffee cherry, like Kikti, who lives in the lush hills of Ethiopia. Kikti is a special coffee cherry. She loves the feel of the wind blowing on her skin, the sound of birds singing in the trees, and the warmth of the sun. But Kikti is also concerned about climate change and other threats that coffee farmers face. One day, from her hometown in Ethiopia, Kikti is harvested alongside her friend Mulu and taken to a bustling city, where she is processed before being transported to faraway places.

The monsters came out of nowhere. Even before we starting dropping nuclear warheads on them, we didn’t know where they came from. We just knew they were huge and violent. Most of the population perished as a result of the monsters, the bombs, or the fallout. Those that survived roam the landscape for supplies or other people. Some of these survivors discovered that the monsters left behind nests that sit upon the landscape like sunken storm clouds. And something inside these nests is alive, potentially more dangerous than the monsters themselves.

Father Peyton of the Holy Cross Fathers wanted to inspire his country with a radio program. Footing the expense of the show himself, he arranged for some of the biggest names in radio and film to donate their services, and for a network to provide the broadcast time. The series that resulted featured heartwarming stories for audiences nationwide. The commercial breaks were filled only with an earnest, non-sectarian appeal for family prayer, reminding listeners that "The family that prays together stays together."
