Reborn into a fantastical RPG-system based world, Fresh is offered a second chance at life. Initially glad to have escaped her old existence, she quickly realizes that this new one might not be much better. Her new body is too frail to follow any grand dreams of adventure, her new mind is too dulled to allow any meticulous planning or thought, and this new, seemingly colorful, kind world is anything but.

It’s all come to an end. After the events of the east, there’s only one city left where Fresh and her new family can hide from the dangers of the world, desperately clinging to the last hope of normality that the four of them share under the boughs of the great world-tree that hang far over their heads in the central city of the nation.

After the chaotic events of the night of the witches’ moon in the north, the witch Fresh and her friends are forced to escape from the fervently zealous and corrupt city with the Holy-Church nipping at their heels. They make their way through the great wild-lands, moving towards the distant western city, the city in the mountain, high in the peaks—one of the world’s last remaining natural high-magic zones.

Having been forced to abandon their home in the cold, western mountains, Fresh and her friends make a bid to move across the nation in their desperate search for a place where they can live in peace together. This drives them towards the distant east, to the dry, harsh desert and the ocean city—the nation’s most thriving port of call.

After the death of his beloved mother, Swain is left at the mercy of his drunken father. His only respite from all the beatings and abuse lies in the words he scribbles down, seeking beauty in an ugly world through poetry. He has no friends until one day he meets a girl near his mother's grave. A restless spirit who calls herself Goose, over the years she encourages Swain's creativity, eventually helping him tap into a magical ability he never knew he possessed: a dark energy entwined with his despair, fueled by his anger, and controlled by his poetic verse.

I died and was accidentally reborn as an [angelic monstrosity]. So now I'm building a holy dungeon-tower that is tall enough to reach the gods...so that I can complain about it! But the humans think that I am trying to destroy the world.

In an era in which ancient gods live in the world’s cities together with their mortal followers, forming tight-knit guilds and powerful temples, the disfigured ash-caster and blacksmith Hineni has lived his entire life as a reclusive outcast. Hidden away behind layers of clothing and just as many walls and doors, he only ever leaves the house in the dead of night, so that neither the gods or anyone else can ever see him. However, on one of these night-tide outings, he finds that has gained the unwanted attention of what is seemingly a perfectly normal owl.

Adventurers flock from around the nation to be able to reap the seeds that Isaiah has sown in the world, earning themselves much glory and wealth and, in turn, earning the divine entity, Isaiah, much renown. However, this new glory is not without downsides. The Holy-Church, threatened by Isaiah’s presence in the world, begins to make moves alongside the cruel, strange Witch Perchta, who holds a deep resentment towards Isaiah for her misgivings about their past that she is unable to forgive.

The Tower of Isaiah spires toward the heavens above, coming closer and closer by the day. The gargantuan construct that towers over the world pierces the clouds like a threatening spear, held aloft to any higher powers above who might be watching this new era of turmoil. However, the precariousness of the situation is more than apparent as human society finds itself pushed to the brink because of the tower and what it represents. The Grand Crusade marches toward Isaiah's holy lands as the foul Witch Perchta and her strange associates conspire in secret to cause the fall of the paradise.

The war has begun, with the tensions between the elves and the humans having violently exploded. Hineni, as one of the nation’s weapon smiths, is pulled into service for the cause, making countless of the Owl-God’s enchanted weapons to supply the human military with as they’re all dragged down towards the south, towards the war front where they must establish a new presence and home, right on the edge of the battlefield. As tensions rise between the mortal races, so too do those between the gods.

Swain lived for art and beauty. They were his natural defenses against a world populated by greedy and abusive people. He found refuge in poetry, crafting rhythmic phrases out of his chaotic thoughts, desperate to tap into the spiritual divinity of creation. But Swain's naiveté blinded him to an inevitable betrayal by the one person he entrusted with his heart: the girl who uncovered the magic woven within his words. Now he's the Demon King. His poems have shattered the very fabric of reality, conjuring monstrous beings, summoning vicious specters, and twisting people into undead entities.

Once he was a young boy named Swain, doing his best to navigate the broken home and cruel world fate had dealt him. Solace and safety came in the form of his creative pursuits: specifically, making art in the form of poetic words. Then he met a girl who gave him real hope—a hope strong enough to defend and protect him from life's adversities—and the belief that his poetry had the power to summon true beauty. But it was all a lie. Hope was an illusion. Ugliness reigned. Only the magic was real, magic that he was able to entwine with his hatred to become the Demon King and unleash a plague.
