This is a humorous, episodic novel of dark fantasy and science fiction, composed of the four novellas Amy and the Ankylosaurus, Helen and the Evil Elves of the Elder Gods, Sithe in the City, and Dragon vs Dinosaur. It begins when Magnus creates a device to open portals to other quantum universes so he can show his ex-girlfriend, Amy, real dinosaurs. This goes awry when Amy goes through the portal and he has to rescue her, accompanied by his fellow scientist Helen, Amy's best friend.

Megan, the mage, leaves her friend, Edmund, in charge of the kingdom while she and her beloved succubus, Kendra, take a short vacation together. Edmund lets his friend, Phil, an ogre mercenary, talk him into organizing a game which goes very badly, and then, the kingdom in invaded by a beautiful dark elf sorceress named Lorelei and her companions, which include two scientists, a museum curator, and her pet Ankylosaurus. After a fierce battle, the two sides join forces to steal a magical artifact from a dryad, with many other bad ideas along the way.

In this book, the Crisis ex-girlfriend gets super powers and swears revenge on him, working for the arch villain Doctor Gloom, whom the Crisis has upset from time to time. At the same time The Crisis, his wife Delphi, cohorts in crime Poison and Stiletto have been forced to flee the country and join Dr. Impossible where he has become the Supreme Dictator for Life in Thailand. Of course this prompts an all out superhero invasion funded by the multinational corporations Crisis and the gang have been waging war against.

Hijinx ensue.

This audiobook tells the story of a supervillain called "The Crisis" and his best friend, an assassin named "Poison" as they carve out a living in a dystopian future. Crisis is on the run from the FBI, including a sexy metahuman agent with whom he might be in love. Along the way, they run into a genius Russian cyborg, a pink-haired exotic dancer who wants to become a supervillain, a superhero with an MBA from Wharton who can lift a skyscraper, and many others.

These works tell the story of a beautiful mage named Megan, who becomes romantically entwined with a succubus named Kendra, a scholar, and an ogre named Phil, and the fun and hijinks that ensue. From overthrowing a kingdom to battles with a vampire named Kiki, there is romance and adventure aplenty.

This is a work of humorous fantasy as well as political parody. Any persons who actually exist are public figures and depictions here are exaggerated and used for purposes of satire and political commentary as protected by law and the first amendment of the US constitution.

In this series Helen, a wise-ass redhead who became a succubus at the end of Succubus Journey must figure out what exactly that entails. Meanwhile a scholar who became a king goes on a war for books while his ogre mentor comes along for the ride. A supervillain assassin challenges a greater demon to a duel and humor and adventure abound. If you like Super Powereds by Drew Hayes, The Waldo Rabbit series, or Good Intentions by Elliot Kay, you will love The Succubus Apprentice.
