Summary

Rulers of vampirekind Sam Parker and Jared Michaels are enjoying the current peace that's fallen among their species...until it abruptly shatters. A vampire unlawfully attempting to turn unwilling humans is somehow inadvertently killing them. It makes no sense, just like the strange brand on his palm and the fact that he boasts multiple vampiric gifts. He also has the same mercury glint to his irises that Sam herself possesses...indicating that she's no longer the only vampire hybrid in the world.

It quickly becomes clear that eliminating him won't be easy, especially since he's under the protection of an ancient being more powerful than Sam and Jared combined. They must win over the ancient and track the hybrid before more innocent humans die...which would be a lot easier if a distraction hadn't come in the form of a stranger appearing at The Hollow making an exceedingly bold claim.

A claim that he once had a precognitive vision of himself Bound to Sam.

Contains mature themes.

A Brilliant Book & Series

This series is definitely worth a listen. Really clever how it's been written.
it was good how each book even though separate, had links to each book along the way.
The narrators were also brilliant & really made the story
I would definitely recommend this book & the series.

The vampires have cool abilities

The vampires abilities are incentive, the story is pretty good but the for the finale I was a little disappointed. over all a pretty decent series!

My favourite vampires are back

I missed Sam and Jared. This is a great addition to the series. It has all the elements Suzanne’s fans like: ALOT of steam, action, supernatural characters, hilarious scenes, and all in all a light story that is really interesting and entertaining.
Both performances were amazing too. Love their voices and interpretation of the characters.

5*

fantastic book, these two characters are some of Suzzanes best, and the chemistry is off the charts. But their fights have to be one of the most hilarious things too!

Touch of Rapture

It was lovely to return back to Gerald and Sam, this book has it all the fights, the love and the scheming to over power the head Vampires. Building the tension through the danger and laughter was the wonderful voices of Justine Eyre and P. J. Ochlan.

7* - A Fantastic End to the series

I listened to a 7 books back to back and can say that this is truly a FANTASTIC series.
All the Characters are great and of course due to the nature of their interactions, make an appearance in each other's books.
Author Suzanne and Narrators Justine and P.J. Thank you for creating this masterpiece for us to enjoy!

Disappointing Story line

A bit fluffy, missed a great opportunity to engage with the ancients, instead it was more of the same. Sam and Jared go fight the bad people, win and got to bed, it got boring. Narration suffered from poor story line too.
