About this listen

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Kerri Maniscalco, Throne of the Fallen is Bridgerton set in the courts of Hell: a romantic venture within her Kingdom of the Wicked world, perfect for fans of fantasy, romance, and mystery alike.

With the curse broken, the Prince of Envy is finally free to get his revenge. His scheme requires the assistance of Camilla Antonius, a talented gallery owner and artist. Camilla's skills are needed to help him access a stolen memory Envy believes was painted into an illuminated manuscript that his spies claim is currently being housed in a goddess-run temple on the Shifting Isles.

Camilla's knowledge of art history makes her the best choice for the job, but-despite his allure and how intrigued she is by him-Camilla wants nothing to do with the demon prince, or the Seven Circles after seeing the chaos that follows them. Envy has been plotting for ages and came prepared. He reveals he purchased her father's debts and her assistance is the price he's asking for to clear them. If Camilla refuses to help, he vows to ruin her family, take her gallery, and turn them out on the streets.

Backed into a corner, Camilla is forced to accept the devil's bargain and they soon embark on a journey that may be as dangerous for their hearts as it is for their world.

fantastic narration enjoyable story

Really enjoyed the narration, not heard much in similar voices and it was a welcomed change.

Story was engaging, enough action, spice and plot to keep listening. Worth the credit for sure.

Best audio book I’ve listened to.

These narrators should be utilised more often! The book, as expected, was wonderful, can’t wait for the next instalment.

Twist, turns with some fae envy ….

I’ve instantly purchased more of KM’s books - this was such a surprising find given I should have come across them sooner! I hope to hear more of the 7 bros stories 😉💥📚

A delightful audiobook that was well executed.👏 My only complaint is that it wasn't dual pov, which would've elevated it to a 4.5/5 star audiobook.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first read by this author. I own the 'Kingdom of the Wicked' trilogy on Kindle, so once I have the audiobooks, I'll definitely read/listen to them, now that I've dipped my toe into the water.

I loved the rich world building and character detail. Prince Envy and Camilla smouldered together on the page.🔥 As 'the game' unravelled and the stakes became clearer, it was so desperately sad!🥺

The Unseelie King is completely unhinged.😲 I loved the ending. I was glad to see another brothers' book will be released at the end of October.😃 I look forward to reading more by this author.⭐️

Throne of the fallen

I really enjoyed this book and gave it 4 stars because it didn’t made me feel like I would want to burn the world for him like I would for Kingfisher or Xaden. I find Envy a bit too arrogant for my taste.Don’t get me wrong the tension and spice was there but the games weren’t that great as the ones in 4th Wing or like the fantastic ones in the Serpent and Wings of Night. I think it’s a good palate cleanser or calm down after the thrill of Quicksilver.

Re hashed tropes but fun

This plot line is very similar to ACOTAR just shuffled a bit and with demons. The voice acting drove me nuts as the female narrator spoke too quickly and I had to adjust the speed chapter to chapter. Still, I did enjoy it even if there were no surprises. That said this is not a story I’ll revisit

Just as good as the first trilogy!!

Brilliant book just like the three that came before it, the twists could always go ether way after all its the seven deadly sin brothers at work and play! I really hope more books are already in the pipe line for the rest of the brothers and all the other game players in the underworld 🌠
