BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT
This book deserves an award, there are sub plots and twists that keep you guessing till the end and I defy anyone to work out the plot. Even tho' there are several sub-plots, they all knot together and yet it is easy to follow each one and the narrator makes it interesting bringing each person to life. Cannot praise enough - I stumbled on this writer by chance and am working through all his novels and have not been disappointed by any. Keep them coming please....

Good story not rhe right narrator
a good Lincoln Rhyme novel, but the narrator was all wrong for it. I found it a hard listen.

Not my favourite rhyme book
I have read others in this series and loved them. This was not one of my favourites. I listened all the way through but wasn't as gripped by thus one as others.

The intricate plot stands out
Good story. I had difficulty putting it down, as I could not hear it all in one session

Typical Linc Rhyme
As with all Linc Rhyme books this is very involved but holds your attention. Every twist and turn has a reason to it. It kept us entertained for long hours on car journeys.

Wonderfully twisting thriller
Fantastically written. Always keeps you guessing and never an obvious twist until you see it laid out and then you understand the intricately woven threads. Narration brings this to life even further and would thoroughly recommend. One of the best in the series

Patience
A Lincoln Rhyme saga about a 16yr old Geneva Settle doing some research on her ancestry and has come across one that needs a bit more digging but someone else is not happy for her to find out the truth whether good or bad. so time for Lincoln and Amelia Sachs to enter.
I don't think this is one of Deavers's best, and the narrator did not seem right for this book.
As with all of Deaver's books he does intend to keep going over the crime scene and where a new clue comes to light, it is written on the whiteboard and then the whole lot is re-iterated which happens a lot and is pretty annoying at times.
The audiobook is just on 15hrs listening which I think could easily be reduced with all the repeated clues taking up the time.

Riveting
Loved the story, the characters and the narrator. Each character is so believable in their attitudes and mannerisms. The story itself should be made into a film, it kept me wanting more, was surprised by some of the twists in the story. I will no doubt listen to this book again and again.
