Interesting.
A really interesting, involved story in 5 different parts. I have downloaded the next in the series and can't wait to listen to it. Great narration with different voices and accents.

Fast-paced story
This is a crime story in a rather old-fashioned style, reminding us how crimes used to be committed and solved without the use of high technology! Almost innocent in style, though the crimes themselves were far from innocent. Great narration. The ending was something of a cliffhanger, necessary to read Book 2 to see what happens to Charles.

A really good listen
Liked the fact the narrator sounded more than a little like Michael Caine, which was fitting for the era, London and the law. Great story, really enjoyed it from beginning to end.
