She enlists the help of psychologist Sigrun (Sofie Gråbøl), and together they delve into Dr. Jekyll’s darker other side, a brutal assassin named… Hyde.

Starring Vanessa Kirby, David Oyelowo, Sofie Gråbøl with an original score by Brittany Allen.

Editorial Review

Thrilling Dr. Jekyll reimagining
Get ready for an exhilarating experience with Audible's The Strange Case. As a lover of the classic, I was electrified to learn that the renowned creator of the John Wick franchise, Derek Kolstad, would reimagine this iconic story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with a gender-bent twist. Vanessa Kirby, the brilliant star of The Crown, delivers a breathtaking performance in the titular role that will leave you gasping for air. This audio drama presents the duality of the character in a fascinating new light, keeping you on the edge of your seat. It's a must-listen, whether you're a classics buff or dramatic storytelling fanatic. —Kistal G., Audible Editor

Great story and acting.

I didn’t expect too much from this but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend listening on headphones.

A surprisingly good read/listen

Such a gripping story to listen too, and despite it being another story based on DR Jekyll/Hyde, it is a refreshing take on the story.
There are a lot of "action" scenes, but the way it has been produced really does make it quite easy to follow, and easy to get involved into.

Chilling

Vanessa Kirby, as well as the rest of the cast, is brilliant. Even though there's nothing to see I had no problem differenting between her characters. The script flowed well and had a stellar cast. It's a great reimagining of the classic tale. A must listen for all.
