Summary

My name's Noah Kilmartin. I'm from Ruddock, Ohio, and I'm getting pretty dang qualified to save the universe from the slavering demonic hordes of the super evil bitch Queen Lilith.

All I've got to do is survive the penultimate sphere before Malkuth. One last hellscape that will test my companions and I, seek to turn us against each other, and shatter the certainties that bind us together.

I know our love is true. I know our bonds will hold. That nothing Lilith can throw against us will prevail.

I have to believe it. Because the alternative is too horrifying to contemplate....

Warning and minor spoilers: The Ravens of Death is an 18+ audiobook intended for mature listeners. It contains graphic sex and copious amounts of medieval violence.

Another fantastic installment

I love this series and as another reviewer said, it will be sad to see it end in book 5.

Another great installment

Books like this (and its predecessor 'The Manifold') highlight the limitations of the straight five star scoring system. For me, neither are quite a five but both are more than a four so they have to be rounded up.

Mike Truk continues to grow his characters and continues to show them as fallible and 'human' in their failures. Previously I've praised this series for not falling into the 'overpowered feats on demand' trap that often plagues books with a LitRPG levelling system and that's what sadly dropped this away from a five, even if there is an attempt to explain why - just too convenient to have it happen. The other was the artifact telegraphing - you know when someone says "...it is said it can even..." that there will be a time when that is needed.

Still, all said and done, I've enjoyed this book greatly along with the rest of the series and will be saddened to see it end in book 5.

My 2nd 5 star this year!

A rare gem. Good story that is though through. Character are well developed. Its hot! I really appreciate that this one has less anxiety and a different color. So they characters show growth, story is different and so I can feel more at ease. If I wish for something its less fighting (specially the end which is just more of the same) and a bit more downtime and dialogue.

I don't understand...

How can book 4 be better than book 3?
Book 3 entered by all time, best ever books, while this one, some hours tops even that, madness.

This book is full of crazy magic, sex, character development and the mother of all boss fights. I absolutely loved it, can't wait till book 5!

Where is book five

Is this series should have two narrators I think that would make it amazing! But two years after listening to this book, and I’m still waiting for the last chapter in this story! Can’t even find it on Kindle!
