About this listen
After four years spent apart, Aaron is on his way home to marry the love of his life — his best friend. The proposal? It’s about to end in disaster.
Dedicated, determined, and head-over-heels in love, Aaron is ready to settle down with the man of his dreams — his best friend, Gage. With a prestigious degree under his belt, a promising career ahead of him, and a loving boyfriend to pamper and spoil for the rest of their lives, the future is brighter than it’s ever been.
Isn’t it?
The lie Gage has been living for the last four years is about to fall apart, and there’s only one way he can see himself holding it together. The proposal? It’s everything he’s ever wanted, but something he might never be able to have….
When the steamiest summer of Gage’s life leaves him pregnant with Aaron’s child, Gage knows what he has to do. He’s made Aaron a promise, and the future of their family depends on it.
Forced to keep his son a secret from everyone — even Aaron — Gage does whatever it takes in order to keep a roof over their heads. But when his child gets sick and Gage can’t afford medical treatment, he has a difficult choice to make.
How far will he go to keep his future family together?
When an unexpected reunion brings Aaron and Gage back together, they’re faced with a choice: Overcome the obstacles standing in their way to becoming a happy family, or accept that the proposal they’ve both been dreaming is never going to happen.
The Proposal is a 70,000 word contemporary omegaverse mpreg novel featuring a quirky group of single dads, a live stream you’re never going to forget, pretty pearls in naughty places, and a love that neither time nor distance can tear apart.

Second chance romance
High school is over and you have one glorious summer to enjoy with your best friend and secret crush.
What would you do to protect his future and help him realize his dreams?
Keep the ultimate secret until a health scare suddenly tips your hand.
This one put me through a gamut of emotions; from fear of discovery over keeping secrets to worrying about someone's safety and well-being to the absolute adorableness of that once in a lifee kind of love and getting a second chance with your soulmate.
Michael Ferrieulio has done a superb job of bringing all these emotionally packed moments to life.

So sexy
I waited with bated breathe for this book- Gage was one of my favourite characters from the first book The Problem so I am super pleased he gets to tell his story.
Have made a decision 4 years ago to let his Alpha finish his PHD by keeping his pregnancy and subsequent child a secret from everyone but Alex and Mal (two friends).
Aaron is back and he can't wait to see Gage because all he wants to do is propose. He is so sure as long as secrets and miscommunication doesn't keep them from their HEA.
Meanwhile through all together is a sick little boy who steals the show.
I loved this book so much, so to hear it on the audio was brilliant. Aaron and Gage although already have love, watch as it changes and grows. Gage is sexy, sweet, and so strong showing thank matter the odds, you can endure. Aaron takes most of the surprises in strident is fallible and insecure . This book is written in such away to make them real, so fabulous and hot a really good read.
You don't have to have read the first book but I would recommend that you do just as much as I recommend this book.

Gage, Aaron, and Bo
When I met Gage in the first book in the series, my heart broke. A single father reliant on webcam sex work and the generosity of friends just to get by. And then his son Bo got sick and Gage couldn’t afford to take him to the doctor. My heart broke every time the little guy’s lungs crackled and I tried to see things from Gage’s perspective – how he was convinced he would ruin his love’s life if the guy found out he was a father. Ugh, it was brutal. His story almost overtook Alex’s and that’s saying something. Alex got his happy ending, though, and now came this book.
In the opening scene I got a real sense of Gage and the love of his life, Aaron. Given all they did, it was hardly surprising Gage got knocked up. But the kind of deprivation he endured just so Aaron could complete is PhD was harrowing. I also found it a little hard to believe that in over four years Aaron never came back to the States, despite being desperately in love with Gage. Just a minor point but it had to be that way to keep Bo a secret. Oh, and I love what his name represents.
It takes several POV shifts before the men finally are in each other’s company. I had high expectations, but didn’t foresee the direction things would take. After that adventure, things move quickly. Aaron whisks Gage and Bo into a new home and suddenly the pair have everything they could possibly need – including appointments for tests for Bo. I had hope. Until I saw a side of Aaron I didn’t like. He jumped to conclusion after conclusion – all of them wrong. It’s like instead of talking to Gage, he made up his mind on certain things. I wanted to whack him on the head so perhaps he’d see some sense. Only when he’s facing losing everything does he finally get it.
I have to mention the Single Dads Club. Those message interactions are sometimes a hoot, sometimes very touching. These men are the reason Gage survived single fatherhood. The reason he didn’t give up. The reason he did such a great job with Bo. We would all be so lucky to have such a close group of friends. In the end Gage makes it and that brought me joy. Aaron also finally got his head out of his ass. Some people might be sympathetic to him but I wasn’t. Gage loved him so I tried to see things from his perspective. Had a tough time doing it.
In the end I got my happy ending and that’s what really mattered. I still worry about Bo even though things look much brighter. I’m also curious about some of the other single dads and am glad to see there are a bunch more books in the series. Hopefully they’re coming to audio soon.
Michael Ferraiuolo is narrating this series and I couldn’t be more thrilled. He does such a great job, giving each single father a very distinctive voice. He also does a beautiful Bo, giving that child-like vulnerability I expected. Another great audio and I can’t wait for the next one. Oh, and purple glitter. Have to have the purple glitter. That sh-, uh, stuff, gets everywhere…

Gage and Aaron
Gage is a single dad whose partner doesn't know about Beau. Beau has became sick and Gage doesn't have the funds for medical advice. He has struggled whilst Aaron is away at University but has faith he will come back to him, soon since he has been away nearly 5 yrs. A beautifully written and narrated story. Can't wait to continue the series

This one had some surprises I didn't see coming.
I can't say it enough, I love, love, love Michael Ferraiuolo's voice. He gave another outstanding performance of The Proposal. This is book two in the Single Dad Support Group series but it can be read as a standalone. Characters from book one do appear so you might enjoy The Proposal even more if you read The Problem first.
Both of the MCs in this story make some choices that come back to bite them later. In any relationship, communication is key and these two don't do that very well at all. There are lots of feels in this story and most of it is really sweet. But when Gage and Aaron get it on watch out! 😊
Once again, I love how Michael Ferraiuolo reads the group chats in this story. He makes it easy to know who is speaking and his different character voices really enhance the dialog between the chat participants. I'm looking forward to enjoying the rest of this series.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

Them Feels 💙
I jumped in to this book blind. All I know is it’s mpreg, it’s by Piper Scott and Michael Ferraiuolo is narrating it. It’s gonna be a good book. That’s trust y’all. 😉
I enjoyed listening to Gage and Aaron’s story. Did I agree with Gage’s life decisions? Not really. Did I agree with Aaron’s choices and decisions? Not really. These two are the epitome of what happens when you don’t communicate well and communicate honestly. 😅 But I was glad that it all worked out for them in the end. The sexy times though. 🔥

Yes! All the feels!
I’d been hanging out for TeenDad2’s story and it does not disappoint! I love these two and could totally feel all the love and devotion they have for each other, even with so long apart and a secret child in the mix. Add in a family secret and there’s even more to love.
Piper has a wonderful way of endearing you to one story while teasing and enticing you to all the other characters and their stories so you NEED to know their stories too. So, of course, I can’t wait for the next one! 😍 I’m loving this world and can’t wait for all these wonderful Dads to find their perfect matches!
Side note! I totally didn’t realize who Aaron’s parents were either and loved the interconnecting worlds of Piper’s Stories. (Aaron’s parents' story is Breathe, His Command, Book 5).
Thanks for reading!

Even better in audio
This was one of my favorite SDSG books when I read, and the audio, fabulously narrated by Michael Ferraiulo, only made me love it even more! Aaron and Gage were not the brightest throughout the book, but their love shone through completely. I loved that in the first book you think Gage is sweet and innocent, but find out here how truly kinky he is when he’s with the man he loves. And while I didn’t like the way Aaron handled everything, you could tell Gage and Beau were his main concerns at all times. It was great seeing some old familiar faces too!

Two men with a communication problem.
Gage is a sweet innocent man who is to stubborn for his own good and is hard on himself. Aaron is his 'man' who left to study so that they will have a good future together. Aaron has cone back unexpected and the misunderstandings and suspicions are kicking in. Ofcourse they find their happy ending with their toddler Beau and family secrets are revealed.
The narration was as I am used to by Michael Ferraiuolo excellently done. Voices of all the characters are consistent with the earlier and later books. I really enjoy his use of his voice to represent emotions etc

Another wonderful book on this series!!
I loved so much this series. I've read and read all the books on it and I am yet to decide which one is my favorite, but this is one of the finalists. Gage is the most endearing character Ms Scott has ever written, and his bubbling personality and attitude made him my favorite. He and Aaron got a long ride to get their HEA but their love worth every bumb in their way. I am sure it must have been difficult to find the perfect voice actor to bring alive these characters but Mr Ferraiuolo was totally up to the challenge. A wonderful book read by a wonderful narrator.
