The Ultimate Insult
Some people find Caroline Myss tone of voice aggressive and arrogant - but it has one purpose: to insult and cast you out of the darkness of your EGO - to WAKE UP, reflect and humble yourself and do good without passing suffering unto others. What a wake up call this recording was for me !!!

Fantastic.
I enjoyed the profound information as well as Caroline's humour. It gave me so much hope and a feeling of comfort. I have started praying and it fills me with a warm feeling that I'm being looked after. I also love the idea of using prayer as a reflection of the self and getting to know your darker side. Genius.

Hard hitting spiritual truth
If you are genuine in your quest to humble yourself to be a vehicle of unadulterated grace in this world, then this is the book and practice for you. A pure gem of hard hitting truth and selfless intention that’s cuts through the mire of the spiritual playground, giving the listener much to dwell upon and offering guidance worth its weight in gold. Thank you Carolyn for this masterpiece of truth and hope.

Thought provoking.
Found the content, quite interesting, however I was left feeling quite despondent. In that, it felt that it was futile to pray for changes in your life, and that one should just accept their fate in life. Her mocking of how some people prayed for things, made me laugh at times, and I wondered if it was Caroline's personal views on life or it was based her Devine connection to the Creator. All in all it was thought provocating.

nice to get some balanced point of view
Would you listen to The Power of Prayer again? Why?
Yes, to remind myself and be careful that the current new age spirituality has a tendency towards covert narcissism and what's here for me,me, and me.

Not the same as the usual Caroline Myss work!
if you're expecting the same as her work on archetypes and the chakra system then prepare to be disappointed. This is a bit too dull, obvious and negative and doesn't contain any of the usual insights that she's so famous for.
Shame, because I've listened to so much of her previous work and it normally resonates so well.
