Summary

Great Story. Wonderful narration

I read this book many years ago but had forgotten most of it, Lily was the only character which had stayed with me. I always enjoy Marian Keyes books, they take you on a journey with The characters without being sickly sweet or predictable. The narrator brings the book alive with all the different voices. I will be looking for more audio books narrated by Gerri Halligan.

Great story, not so good narration

I enjoyed the story and the content of the book. I liked the way it got you interested in each character then switched to another, always leaving you wanting more.
Unfortunately the narrator seemed to struggle. There were at least 4 different accents used and sometimes they got a bit confused. Certainly the American and Dublin accents started to sound a lot like each other. It made it confusing and unfortunately took me out of the story.

Loved this book!

Great book that was enjoyable from start to finish. Narrator makes it so easy to listen too. I totally recommend this book.

My first listen/read of this author

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. Great storytelling. I liked the way the characters developed and the book made me laugh out loud at certain times. I am going to listen to more by Marian Keyes.

Cleverly written

Enjoyed the book. Typically Marian. A little too long for my taste. However, I guess it needed to be to tell the story.

Lovely listen

I really enjoyed listening to this story , had me slightly confused when another main character came into play , but then realised it’s always good to read the details of a book before you download it , anyway once I realised there were 3 main characters I really enjoyed how they all linked up , also the narration was great

Irish based book read with an Irish accent. So easy to listen to

I love the style in which it has been written. 3 seperate characters all entwined but distant. Very easy to follow and really enjoyable.

Great twists amd turns

Mostly happy endings for the main characters. Not too sickly sweet. Glad I'm not am an author - it seems very stressful 😅
