Brilliant as always!
another brilliant book, the only thing I would have changed is to have more of Dan in the book. This one focussed more on the characters in the investigation than normal I think.

Best one yet
I have just listened to all 5 in a row (in 5 weeks!!) and have really lost myself. 5 brilliant thrillers but I really think the best was saved till last. Loved the twists and turns in this one. I guessed ‘who’d done it’ about halfway through but there were still lots of surprises.
I also have to say James Lailey’s narration is truly amazing. In my review of the first book I said that I would have preferred a female narrator for the female parts however I take that all back. James can do pretty much any accent!! I will miss James’s voice as company!!
Anna-Lou -you are an amazing writer. Thank you for getting me through January. I love your characters - more please!!

Fantastic
I Have binged listened to all 5 books written by Anna -Lou and Narrated by James Lailey and have enjoyed every single one thoroughly. Very different stories and crimes to solve love, how the story unfolds and how it comes to light how the crime was committed and that he manages to get his man or woman which ever the case may be. I love hearing about the detective Dan Riley's life and how things are progressing for him and how as his relationship grows with his new love Fi
Never forgetting his first love Rachel and how he is moving on after her tragic accident.
Looking forward to the next book cant wait !!!! cant praise them enough
I also feel that James reads them and makes the story come to life and he compliments the books 100% gorgeous easy listening voice.
huge fan

great listen
Love the series! Great addition. I think there could have been more Dan storyline throughout the book considering it's book number 5.. it was a bit of an after thought in the last chapter added on the end.

This was the best Detective Dan Riley book so far!
Really enjoyed this. It was less predictable. I don’t like the authors casual fat shaming. There are more ways to describe people other than their size. I also didn’t really like the victim blaming/choice of killer.

Next in series please!!!
Predictable apart from very last twist. But figuring out the plots will not detract from enjoyment in the slightest.. immediately looked for the next in series!!! love this narrator..

best of the set so far
I have listened to the wonderful narration of all of Anna Lou Weatherley's books featuring Dan Riley, and this one is the best yet. She writes so beautifully, and is superb at making her characters relatable. If you want a juicy whodunnit, this is the book for you!
