Oh my!
I swear this is one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. I listened on audio, I listened to it quickly as I couldn’t leave it alone. It had me in tears and that has only happened with a few books I’ve read/listened to. X

Loved it

Worth a listen
It took me a few chapters to get into the book, but then I was hooked. A good listen which is thought provoking but sweet.

Not what I expected
I had read a couple of Comfort Food Cafe titles and was expecting something similarly light for a cosy escapist read. But this was an intense eleven-hour monologue, very dark in places, with the narrator rarely attempting an accent or a different voice. There were some annoying glitches in the audio, (where two sections were badly spliced together?) However it was a good storyline and did finally end well.

It is what it is!
Such a beautiful story.
maybe a bit too long, maybe not.
A completely campact emotional roller coaster with such unreachable highs, and
unwantable lows! Anyone would think it was real.
A story you would want to read
repeatably, only it's also a story
you don't forget. Perfect narration and elequsion.
