Summary

Excellent and really brings the series on
I love where we go with this. The new character that we have introduced in this one I hope comes back for me.
I love the start. Not really much water action in this one for a change. I like everything that goes with Sam's life and its not like he's a one trick pony so from his kidnapping to his ultimate adventure swept me along. In fact I loved how different this one was. Excalibur was very much the same in that it also added a sense of slightly different depth to the series. The Sam Reilly books are great!!
The narration is excellent. I love the narrators voice as it keeps me listening for longer than I should at times. Although the excellent story does of course also do that!

A Simple Blood Test Leads To An Exciting Pursuit.
Ben just wants to donate blood to help his friend following a motorbike accident. Next he's drugged and has to take Sam Reilly hostage to escape from the Pentagon. What follows is a mad dash cross country by Ben and Sam, pursued by the FBI, while Sam's team try and solve the mystery of who Ben is. This is brilliantly written with both high tension and humour. An engaging, action packed, plot very well narrated. A great listen.

Exciting adventure
OK Sam is back but this is a more modern adventure and more James Bond than Indiana Jones which I really liked its an exciting adventure full of secrets and lies and there is a mole in the team somewhere. This follows the underlying storyline some more and we get a few more details about what has been going on but as always with this author he just teases you and doesn’t show the whole picture so on to the next book I go.
