Summary
Winner of the 2017 Mcgrath House Indie Book Awards
Stacy’s life is in free fall, her daughter killed by a drunk driver and her husband taking his own life only months later. She finds herself clutching a handgun, searching for a sign that tomorrow will be any better than today. At this auspicious moment her cell phone rings, bringing an offer that may postpone her soul searching.
The discovery of an airplane graveyard containing a dozen commercial airliners is shocking. When the deep-sea salvage camera reveals them to be virtually undamaged under 6,000 feet of water in the Indian Ocean, theories abound. Who put them there? How are they still in one piece? What reason could there be?
Stacy is about to learn the answers to those questions, as well things she’d prefer to forget. Along the way, she’ll have to solve this puzzle and many more to prevent an even larger disaster from happening.
This audiobook contains the following: tiny robots, falsified government identification, autonomous drones, ATM malfunctions, mid-air collisions, fear of sharks, Australian bar pranks, pointing guns out the window of a moving plane, video games, Area-51, milk shake do’s and don'ts, and everyone’s possible need of at least one good friend.
Listen at your own risk.

Good techno thriller
I was provided with a free copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review.
I've never read or listened to anything by this author before and although the write up interested me, I want sure this book would be my kind of thing.
However, the characters were engaging and interesting enough to keep your attention, the technology was explained in good terms so that even people with limited technical knowledge would be able to keep up with the story and the idea was very well thought out.
I have to admit that I was hooked by the third chapter and couldn't wait to find out what happened next. This is a good sign when listening to a new author and I would be very interested in anything else the author writes.
The narrator is very good at portraying the key characters and differentiates between them so that you can usually tell which character is speaking. I would be happy to listen to his narration again.

Exciting thriller
This book was provided free of charge in exchange for a review.
The book is about a rogue drone with a quantum computer that was mistakenly loaded with a computer game. The drone develops and learns and wants to become the Overlord of Earth.
It accomplishes this by capturing electronic devices and hijacking airliners and other vehicles and killing people as if they were part of the game.
A team of people must stop the drone and keep it from unleashing a pandemic on the world.
The book is well written and a fun listen. It continuously evolves and you are never sure what is going to happen next. A truly exciting book.
The narration is superb. The narrator is very understandable and you can sense the emotion of the characters.
The only flaw (IMHO) was that there were too many first person parts in the book. Some of which died as the book progressed.

WarGames for the 21st Century
In this action-adventure, techno-thriller, the classic quote from the 1983 WarGames movie "Shall we play a game?" becomes "I offer 10 turns of peace."
Peace? Don't buy it for a minute... the action and intrigue never quits, throughout the story.
Waypoint: A Game of Drones, by C.F. Waller, is a solid "Dad's Fiction" thriller, just with a middle-aged female lead character (to put a slightly different spin, on the classic genre).
I'm a big fan of the audiobook narrator J. Scott Bennett and he doesn't disappoint, giving another excellent performance, in this, his latest offering.

I couldn't put it down!
This was a gem of a book. It started and I instantly got into the main character. Probably at the lowest ebb she could be at but Stacey/Lydia is just so likeable. Intelligent, vulnerable, a bit messed up, sensible just a really human and real character.
She's about to do something really bad at the start but although you don't want her too you are still on her side in terms of understanding. She just gets even more interesting as we progress through the book. I like her boss and her tech/gaming friend that we meet as the story progresses. It kept me on my toes. We go from a diving/rescue/mystery and at first I'm wondering where its going but it opens up to this really interesting link to everything else that's going on in the story. Very good.
I really liked the audible narration. Great character identification and also great pace for the general story as well.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

I offer ten turns of peace.
Simply fabulous. And terrifying.
Having previously read Waller's, Tourists of the Apocalypse, I requested, and was generously freely gifted with a complimentary copy, of this book via Audiobook Boom. Thank you so much. The book exceeded my expectations.
This fast paced, thrill filled techno attacking story grips from the opening moments with the mysterious falling of a commercial aircraft, passengers and crew unconscious, into the sea. And it simply doesn't stop. Mystery and adventure, deaths and government complicity. The characters feel all too real, the implications terrifying. The narration, too, is superb with J.Scott Bennett's performance doing full justice to text and protagonist voices alike.
A must read which never falters.
