About this listen
With all the small matters handled, only the big ones remained.
With Ciege back in the land of the living, and with Lola settled into her new position in Arda, Sylver was left to deal with his greatest foe yet.
A [Hero].
And the demons, cultists, and other nonsense that the [Hero] brought along with him.
Join Sylver as he embarks on the adventure of the unlifetime to shoo away the insane god empowered child that threatened to wreck everything Sylver had so painstakingly built up over the year.
With the woman in white’s visit mere months away, Sylver would have to act fast, act hard, and he would need all the strength and corpses he could get.
Book 2 of this Fantasy LitRPG Series about a reincarnated necromancer growing in power and finding his way in a new world where the rules have changed vastly since he last "lived."
About the series: With equal parts humor and dark sorcery action, expect loads of skill progression, deep worldbuilding, and unforgettable characters in this story which had nearly 10 million views on Royal Road. Now completely revised and re-edited for Kindle & Audible.

I liked it
I found it a bit slow in the middle, but overall a good book with pretty good narration.

More like a collection of short stories than a single novel, abrupt ending.
Like I said in the title this book is multiple short adventures of differing qualities, that are threaded together by his time in the city.
Overall it was a good listen, but you could tell ideas were running thin towards the end.

better than the first book.
the first book in this series was interesting and I enjoyed it but I feel like this one was better. the author seems to have cleaned up their dialogue and how they exposit a little so this one felt better to listen to. their still isn't much of a plot as much as their is an anti plot. the first book had a vague goal that the protagonist was always working towards, this one feels more episodic with problem of the week vibes. I love the whole idea that their is a plot and a protagonist somewhere but the MC of this book is doing everything in their power to neither be that protagonist nor a villein in his story. very funny.
[minor spoiler]
my main complaint is that the main goal that was set up at the end of the last book as being 'meet the woman in white' doesn't happen, it feels like he's always one month away from meeting her, and always doing last preparations but it just never comes around. this book really struggles to convey when things are happening, though its better this book than the last one, if only a little. I am willing to forgive it though since all the things that get in the way are basically just as interesting.
[no more spoilers]
the VA is still a little odd in the way they speak, I get the sense that everything they say is some kind of infomercial, but you get used to it, and it does kind of fits the protagonist.
so yeah over all really fun, better than a lot of similar stories and almost as interesting as Legend of the Arch Magus.

Even better than the first book
This book really fleshes out the story with politics, intrigue, and more questions. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next book
