About this listen

Kirito has escaped Sword Art Online, the forbidden VRMMORPG of death, and returned to reality. He heads off to find his game partner and lover, Asuna Yuuki. But Asuna never made it back from the nightmare.

Lost and desperate, Kirito's only clue to her virtual whereabouts is a mysterious screenshot of Asuna as a fairy trapped in a giant birdcage. His conclusion: She must be trapped within the new, high-powered VRMMORPG, ALfheim Online. Now Kirito must plunge into the world of ALO, where players are fairies who fly gracefully through the air!

Improvement on the two previous books

Though the storyline of the first two is arguably better this book adds to it and the reading performances are better balanced

Fantastic Naration and suprisingly good story

For me (and many other people) fairy dance is is the worst of all the Sword art online story arcs so far. Atleast it was in the anime adaptation. So I was very surprised how good the story actually was. The characters are wel flashed and so is the world. Reasons are given for most actions wich very nice.

The Naration by Bryce papenbrook and Cherami leigh is fantastic to. They gave all characters very distintive voices. For most of the book every chapter switches perspective and narrater wich made it very nice to listen to. I personally think it could have been even batter if male voice got done by Bryce and female voices by cherami. By not doing this some characters have to different voices wich is a bit weird. Despite this though the performance is absolutely fantastic.

Conclusion:
Give this book a trie even if you didn't like the anime adaptation of it. Even if you don't like the story very much. The voice performance makes completely up for it!

The worst thing about this book the fact that I have to wait for februari 2022 to listen to the sequel! God what do I hate the sentence 'To be continued....'. Februari can't come soon anoth for me.
