About this listen
Bailey Monzac has just graduated college and is heading to her parents' ranch for the summer when dragons invade. Like something out of her worst nightmare, the fire-breathing beasts rain down chaos and devastation on unsuspecting human populations. One minute Bailey's planning her future; the next she's merely trying to survive. But it isn't long before she discovers she's different from the people around her - the dragons' destructive flames don't affect her. That gives her an edge, but it also means that she'll become a target for powerful individuals seeking to use her to their advantage. Bailey will have to distinguish between allies and enemies quickly as she gets drawn into a war unlike anything the world has seen before.

SHTF with magic and dragons. Really!
Just a bit too silly for me. It's a good SHTF story, but with Dragons. Shape shifting dragons.
If you like SCI Fantasy, then this might be for you.
Couldn't quite finish the first book. Just didn't work for me.

boring untill chapter 35
Not my favorite fantasy book, it was too slow. i felt it only got excited at chapter 35 and the last 1,5 hour. i have listend to a lot of fantasy books, and this book didnt do it for me. the narrator did an awful job with the male voice. i had to skip some chapters and i didnt miss much of the story by doing this. when i read an negative comment i always want to listen to the book and make my own opinion, sadly i agree that this was below average.
