About this listen
During the years that follow, the two brothers grow up unaware of each other's existence. Nat leaves college at the University of Connecticut to serve in Vietnam. Returning a war hero, he finishes school and goes on to become a successful bank executive. Meanwhile, Fletcher has graduated from Yale University and distinguished himself as a criminal defence lawyer and politician.
As their lives unfold, both men are confronted with tragedy and betrayal, loss and hardship, all the time overcoming life's obstacles to become the men they are destined to be. In the tradition of Jeffrey Archer's most popular books, Sons of Fortune is as much a chronicle of a nation in transition as it is the story of the making of these two men and how, eventually, they come to find each other.

Loved it...
...but I would have loved it more if they had publicly acknowledged each other.
Another great book from Archer.

Classic Archer
With his usual skill Jeffery Archer manages to keep you listening and throw in a few plot bombs. Not his best, but still well worth a listen.

Found this one to be my least favourite
Not a good book or a good performance on narration. The summary was more than inspiring but the story itself was very poor.

Shallow
Apart from a bland storyline that's hard to follow, there was no character development at all. I couldn't muster any empathy for any of the characters, it was more of a plot plan than a novel. Well read, though.

Not as gripping a story as you expect from Jeffrey Archer. Maybe it’s just a one off. All the rest I have read so far from Jeffrey Archer are brilliant.

Would be better unabridged
I found the abridging in this audio book to be very distracting. The story seemed to take big leaps and disturbs the continuity of the plot. However, I did enjoy reading the complete book the plot itself is exciting and engaging and had the audio book been unabridged it would have been good. I just wish I had been able to listen to the complete story.
