About this listen
Glamour and suspense in the all-new Sidney Sheldon from the international bestseller Tilly Bagshawe.
Grace Brookstein is the beautiful, young, and naive wife of financial superstar, Leonard Brookstein; a billionaire many times over with estates all over the world.
In 2009 the US stock market goes into a terrifying freefall. The economy is on the brink, and the public want someone to blame, their eyes and their rage directed firmly at Wall Street.
Living as though nothing is happening, everything changes when Lenny’s body is found after a tragic sailing “accident”. His financial affairs unravel, revealing expensive crimes, and now Grace is in the frame.
Untangling a spiralling web of vicious lies and well-planned deceit, Grace soon puts her own life in danger.
She is alone, angry, and desperate for revenge.

A captivating story, but...
Many unexpected turns, although nearer the end one can guess the ending. I didn't like the performance. The reader's voice is unnerving.
Oberall this is a correct thriller that you listen to and forget, but this is quite relaxing...

Good story
The story was good but there were similarities to 'When tomorrow comes' in some parts.
The narrator was awful and had the most irritating different voices

Excellent!
I loved this book and the story line. At times I thought it was going a certain way, then I was pleasantly surprised. I will be honest to say that I struggled with this narrators voice. To me that means a lot to my enjoyment of the book. that's just my opinion.
try it for yourself!!

I won’t recommend it.
The narration is so bad that I kept getting distracted. I didn’t enjoy it at all.
