That ending!!
damnit, what a time for there to be no book 3 as of yet, this installment was just as good as the previous, I think the trials were kinda of long but i didn't skip them, the cliff ish hanger ending tho was what did it for me. I hope more will come of this serious on Audible.

Spooky scary skeletons are the best
Explosive growth in an explosive book. Not as many twists like book 1, but solid growth. The loss of Alith as a companion hurts the story telling in the early section of the book: monologues get extremely dull, but Pareth is a silent gem in this. Looking forward to the next book!

Very good follow up!
Even better than book 1. This book is more of what made book 1 great, but also more refined and consistant. I think in general it just has better writing, while still keeping what I loved about book 1.

Bloody Stupid Preface
Overall, I'd say it's not quite as good as the first book, and there are definitely too many stat screens... but that part is common for almost all LitRPG books, so I'm not really bothered by it.
By far the worst thing is the preface, though. I would strongly suggest that everyone who buys this book skip it. It's only five minutes long, and yet in that time the author manages to spoil the first 28 chapters of the book, which equates to over 4 hours of listening.
