good plot but needs refinement
Plot was great but some aspects of the writing almost sound like larson asked ai to add more humour and then didnt bother editing it afterwards

Another great adventure for James and team
Another enjoyable story with great narration and the characters continue to develop. Love the series and have listened to all of them more than once!

love it
all these books later and I still love the series, no nonsense, no wokery, just good old story telling.
what's more, the story arc has an almost limitless canvas to be painted.
my wife listened to some of the story and even she was chuckling away with it.
the story is fantastic and the narrator is a perfect match. do not change this combo!

This is book 22 of the Undying Mercenaries series. it is superbly read by Mark Boyet who provides great atmosphere. the story line continues with the thread and I hope there are more to follow...

Friendship Found
Another great installment to the saga. I must admit, the first chapter was hard going. Quite repetitive with similies, almost like trying to make an oblique mention of all past species featured, but not well done. I did wonder if Larson let a fan write the first chapter. Second on however, we hit the flow. No spoilers, but I'm glad of where the story led. Can't wait for the next one.

Once again a excellent story
This is one of my favourites series
The story the author and definitely the reader lol it’s an excellent mix blended in with humour and a compelling storyline
