Summary
The moment Scarlett Rose appeared in the window of her parents’ dance studio, twirling like a beautiful figurine in a music box, she became mine. Irrevocably.
She knew me better than I knew the lines of my own hands, though I had never confessed to her whose blood ran through my veins, the famiglia that I belonged to. My legacy created a savage beast that lurked beneath my skin, ready to battle for family and honor, but he only went to war for one—her.
There was one catch, an arrangement she didn’t know about. I sent her away so that she could follow her stars. But now, I was back to retrieve what had always belonged to me—my ballerina girl.
Book II in an eight-part Royal Organized Crime Romance saga.

Frustrating
This book was a 3.5 star read/listen. It’s a very frustrating book and these characters need to grow the hell up. There’s just too much yes, no, yes, no……I want to bang their heads together. Great performance.

Fantasic installment to the Faustis!
I have been waiting to hear more from Bella Di Corte and her Fausti Family story. I was hooked with book one and needed to know what was going to happen with Scarlett and Brando. We pick up where we left off, and Scarlett has been let go to pursue her dream of being a ballerina. Paris proves to do her well, and now more mature, she is quite the woman. Brando has built himself a new career and now is ready to bring his woman home. But is she ready to go back to him? Di Corte keeps us on edge with a push pull that both frustrated me and had me wanting these two to finally get together! But the best is the layers she has built in this story. The history we learn of Scarlett's family, the Fausti's and just how things came to be. It's exciting, surprising and had me intrigued. It is full of banter, beautiful dancing, interesting revelations and passion! A fun and dynamic listen.
Narrated continued by Antonio Amato and Verla Bond, my ears were treated to amazing accents and incredible emotions. These two bring out the true personalities of Brando and Scarlett, and add a spark to all the secondary characters. It is an exciting listen!

A hard listen
I have to say I struggled with this book. There were many times I wanted to put it down and not finish. I liked the characters and I think the story was okay but the slow burn was so much that I got bored. It’s redemption was the narration and that’s why I finished.
