Dark, menacing, enthralling

Once into the story, I found it hard to put away.
I can’t explain what I enjoy about it, but the writer and story teller make this work.
Must be magic.

This book is bad now:(

Really disappointing that the author decide to put all his attention on the abuse and control freak girlfriend and keep talking about how they are just as good as the mc. This genuinely should have been a diffrent series following the girlfriends exploitation and eventual descent into become the villian. That would have made a good story and taught the mc a lesson about trusting others instead she is incompetent and is the overall cause of the defeat at the end of this book. Apparently the next book vampire gate does not have her or even the human cattle in so i will get that one. But I will not be buying anymore books from this author where the other humans are anything more than a 5 min sidenote in the last chapter. They are simply a waste of space that are actively detrimental to the mc growth and he should be killing them not helping them weaken him

Too short

Way too short for an audiobook. Good book but less than nine hours is way too short
