Good addition to the series.
this book is basically more of the past 3 books.
even better actually since the main character actually gets some fleshing out.
this is good because on repeated listens one of the issues I noticed was the fact the MC constantly proclaims power not being for him and he "refuses the heavens" and magicians are all basically bandits.
he says all these things while the only reason he and all those he loves are not dead is only because he's powerful and can beat them up.
this book does fix this issue a little. it's fun to experience the characters interactions etc. the good definitely outweighs the bad.
Narrator: it's book 4, so I'm surprised I have to mention that the narrator or the audio guys around him decided to mess with his god damn voice.
WHY? he's already a decent voice actor. and now in this book we have characters that are voiced by someone trying to make his voice as deep as possible not only does this sound really bad it takes him 4 times as long to finish a sentence. to clarify these are only 1 off side characters but why do it when you have 3 books of not doing it. the voice acting went from a 7/10 to something I'd expect from 10 year olds acting out an edgy play so about a 2/10 In those moments.

Great 4th Installment to the series
Great 4th instalment and loved the Viva La Dirt League NPC Man Holy fire reference, “Feel the nature around you…then press C”. Absolutely loved it!

Meeting the in-laws
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review
Genre: LitRPG fantasy with romance and society building
Explicit/adult material: None.
Summary
The power levels are picking up and everyone on the crew gets some new powers to play with. Oh and Nates mother in law is coming for a visit
Narration
Voice diversity: Good. So good. Every character has their own distinct voice and that voice is clearly a match for their personality and background.
Pacing and intonation: Very good.
Matt Hicks and Allie Piper does it again. Matt Hicks is my favorite male narrator. Fantastic narration!
Overall: 5 / 5 stars.
The book’s strengths.
- Fantastic narration
- The characters are likeable and distinct.
- I really enjoyed meeting milias family. The family dynamics work well.
- I enjoy the focus on upgrading the shop and the town.
- I absolutely love the pets and how they are used and their role in this story.
The book’s weaknesses.
- The MC getting everything handed on a silver plate is starting to get old.

This are always do awesome!!!
This is another awesome book, awesome story, awesome narrators from an awesome series. Did I say awesome too many times already, nah don't think so, this book is awesome. Was blessed with a free copy to do an honest review and I can tell you if I didn't I would still want to get this book. I love how fun it is, I love the discrepancy between an op mc and being challenged by Forces even more op. And more than that it just a fun, slice of life, with some action, and it just keeps me wanting more. And the narrators are always spot on, easy to differentiate and give so much life to the characters. If you haven't grabbed a copy yet, I really don't know what you are waiting for. The sheer audacity of this new installment, the amount of story that this includes, the fun, the growth, the change, the development of several characters, so much happened, that I was halfway through and thought this has to be the end and when I checked I still had several hours left and it was like I had been given me a present again! Really if you have not listened to this series you should.

Great installment
haven't been so happy to fall behind in a story in ages! got a rare opportunity to listen through 2 stories one after another. The story telling is fun and Nates language is ad colourful as ever 😀
