Riveting, excellent performance.

I was glued to my seat listening to such a commanding performance. Bravo to all involved.

so so

Full marks to the suppliers for trying- we don't have nearly enough classic drama avaiable on Audible, but this is pretty old and more care should have been taken in the remastering- if it ever was remastered.

Poor sound quality

Medea is a fabulous play but, not for the faint hearted, it’s a gruesome story. Sadly the recording is of very poor quality in places. But overall still worth a credit. Also it’s worth it’s weight in gold to purchase the Rex Warner translation so you can follow along (most of the time).

Inaudible in parts

Great play, unbelievable performance, terrible recording. Some parts are literally inaudible even with the volume on max, and are very distorted and poor quality. If you buy this then be prepared to have to reference other versions if you want the full play as you cannot understand everything said. It's about 90% fine but 10% is very hard to understand and a few lines are literally inaudible.
A real shame as the performance is incredible, probably the best audiobook in terms of narration and musical effects I have ever heard.

sound quality unlistenable

Volume on full and could still barely hear a word. I tried adjusting via my equaliser but nothing helped. Waste of money.
