Good but a bit drawn out

Interesting plot development and character building , well read but a bit long for my liking. Interesting twists along the way.

Good book, a little predictable but easy going!

An easy listen, not fast and not slow either, somewhat typical ex-cop turned Pi novel.

Slooow

I tried really hard with this book. The idea is good - an ex-cop who searches for missing youngsters, but the story really didn't seem to hang together with disconnected threads and I gave up at chapter 7.
The narration doesn't help. The narrator's clipped 'posh' accent doesn't seem to fit with the character.
