OMG she steadily reels you in then all of a sudden you can’t put her books down..Definitely a brand new fan here. I love the way she writes and her explanations are sooo good you can actually imagine being there with them…Absolutely recommend her books

The best series
Be still my beating heart!!
I cannot get over how good this series is. The last one I enjoyed as much as this was Sarah J Maas’s Throne of glass… and I think I liked this more. So clever, so well written, fantastic world building and loveable characters full of depth. I feel emotionally attached to all and that is no small feat. The way the series ties together and goes back and forth with insight into all perspectives is magical 😍 the talent of this author!
The onlyyy thing I would say is the ages seem a few years too young and so unrealistic. Also, this book of the series was a bit too much ache for my heart - Lydia gets way too much bad luck lol and Killian is a bit of an ass 😂

A must read
What can I say … romance, action,adventure, danger at every turn, complex relationships a story that grips you from the very start. I could not put this down.. Love this series and can’t wait for next book .. another excellent world building epic adventure from Danielle l jenson !!

A Brilliant and Epic story
I don't think I've lost South sleep over a book or series for a while. The twists and turns were very entertaining, the love stories a roller coaster ride. I can't wait for the next book but I think it's going to be a long wait....
Brilliant and nail-biting the story gallops along.

Great story!
For such a long listen, I cried out NO when it finished. No, as the final book isn’t released until October. Great story, you get so invested in the characters, willing them on and feeling like you want to cry with them. I am far from being a teen and would highly recommend this series. Didn’t think a Roman Empire story would be of interest. The two narrators are excellent.

Nail-biting. Thrilling. And a little bit devastating. But most of all, a fun read.
Un-put-downable. Don’t listen if you have anything else you’re meant to be doing. It’s a fun read. Very fun.
