Summary
Pebble Cove will never be the same.
The Rickster is notorious for telling tall tales around Pebble Cove. When he’s found on the dock holding a bloody knife, a crumpled body at his feet, of course he has a story to explain it away. But is his plea of innocence just another yarn?
The victim and the Rickster share a long history, and at the Rickster’s pleading, Rosemary digs into their past. Unfortunately, the more she finds, the guiltier the man appears. Even so, the Rickster’s case brings a welcome reprieve from her other active investigation. With the help of Asher’s distant, living relative, she’s closing in on the truth about her ghostly friend’s murder. But are Rosemary and Asher ready to say goodbye for all eternity?

Eterni-tea in are hearts
It is with a heavy heart that I write this review, how can the author end a popular series?...... With lots of surprises and I loved it, I just about got away without tissues as the dramatic and heart warm conclusion to Asher's story. This story has been building since the very first book, so I would recommend that you sit back and get to know the delightful characters right from the start. I have been with this series from the start, as this is one of my favourite author's and this book is a good showing of why. You get to journey a rollercoaster ride along with the characters as they solve murder cases like only a medium and ghosts can. Pebble cover is a small town setting so you have got to know a number of the characters as the story unfolds and this time it is the turn of the most colourful, The Rickster and like the Rickster it was a hoot. The mystery was good and had a number of elements to it which kept me hooked until the end. While I wait to see what the author has up her selves for the next series I might just have to go back to the start and 're visit Pebble Cove.
It is fast approaching the time Rosemary will have to say good bye to her best friend as she gets closer and closer to solving his murder. For a ghost moving on to the other side is sudden but Rosemary hopes that she has time to solve one more mystery together. The Rickster has been a accused of murdering his best friend and business partner, he was literally found holding the murder weapon and with everybody loving the victim it doesn't look good for the joker.. Even with all his tall tales Rosemary believes him when he claims he is innocent. Helping to clear his name means she can put of solving Asher's death for longer in the hopes that she can come to turns with losing him.
I love the narrator and will miss hearing her read about Rosemary and her ghost pals. I hope the author will stick with her for what ever new adventure she has in store.
