Summary
I don’t usually fall for people - but Hawk? He’s different.
I’ve never really understood attraction in the usual way people think about it. I have to really know someone to fall for them, and my new best friend Hawk is ticking all the boxes. But like most things in life, it’s complicated.
His ex walked away from him and his baby girl, leaving him gun-shy and overcautious. I’m still recovering from a crash that’s left me with a bad case of PTSD and feeling weak and unworthy.
Spending every other weekend taking outdoorsman classes with Hawk is building me back up, and meeting his daughter Ellie is a bright spark in my life. But Hawk wants commitment, and I honestly don’t know if I’m ready to be a father.
When his ex walks back in the picture, will I lose all the love that’s been building between us?
Finding His Family is the fourth audiobook in the contemporary Benson Brothers series. Set in the small town of Bennett Wood, North Carolina, you won’t want to miss out on these sweet and steamy love stories! This audiobook, and every book in this series, can be enjoyed as a stand-alone title.

Nice storyline
I listened to the first book in the series and commented then that I couldn't tell that 2 authors had written the story as it is seamless. I am pleased that this is still apparent in this story. I must admit that I had forgotten I had listened to the first book and didn't realise until the end when some of the back story is reiterated. So this can definitely be listened to as a standalone.
Hawk and Sean both carry emotional baggage around with them and this gives their relationship a rocky start. The attraction is always there, they always care for each other and definitely want a relationship. However, Hawk's past and Sean's nature mean a start/stop development with moderate heat levels. There is a nice storyline with very little angst and a cute daughter named Ellie.
Gage McKenna does a professional job with the narration once again and I particularly enjoyed his voicing of Ellie.

Not My Usual Listen!
I'm glad I gave this book a chance. It really pulled me in and had me hoping for Sean and Hawk to find their HEA. I love the emotions in this book. All around a good listen.
