About this listen
Garrett Coleman spent most of his adolescence crushing on Finn Sweeney - until that Ultimate Dream Guy image got obliterated during senior year. Garrett’s since gone out of his way to avoid the sexy ginger, instead throwing his energy behind his dance career while supporting his mother through her cancer diagnosis.
Finn Sweeney used to think of Garrett as just his kid brother’s best friend, but after an intense exchange at a high school party, things got a little...weird. Despite that, when their two families decide to get together for the holidays for the first time in years, Finn can’t say no. But he’s fully prepared for this to be awkward as hell.
When Finn and Garrett lay eyes on each other for the first time in their adult lives, all bets are off. Finn is completely captivated by Garrett and getting to know the man he’s become is now his top priority. Playing catch-up with Finn makes Garrett truly see him beyond the childhood fantasy he’s held onto all these years. Finn is real and vulnerable...and hot as hell.
Garrett and Finn can’t seem to keep their hands off each other, so they decide to bury the hatchet between them for the remainder of the visit.
After all, it’s only a holiday fling. Until it becomes something more.

A Treat
I have enjoyed the last few Christina Lee books I scooped up and was thrilled to get this one. Something special to put me in the holiday spirit.
Garrett has always crushed on his best friend’s older brother. Classic trope because it’s universal. I had a similar problem when I was young. Man, I thought my best friend’s older brother was so cute. It didn’t go anywhere – as it shouldn’t – but I cling to that memory of a simpler time. When Finn rescues Garrett, though, Garrett isn’t grateful. And then there was the kiss.
Years pass and the men have moved on. Garrett dances and has been dealing with his mom’s cancer diagnosis. Finn has a great job a few hours away. They’ve been living parallel lives. Until the Christmas their families decide to reunite and enjoy a joint celebration. Those parallel lines they’ve been following bend and collide. Attraction simmers just below the surface and then men have to decide if they’re going to continue to tiptoe around each other or whether they’re going to finally act on that attraction. Oh, and Garrett’s brought a ‘friend’. Uh, awkward.
I knew I was going to get a happy ending and I loved the grand gesture. I especially loved that Finn understood Garrett’s drive to dance. I loved that both families supported him unconditionally. Anyway, really enjoyed the book. And, of course, Michael Dean’s narration was spot-on and perfect. I look forward to more collaborations between the two of them.

wonderful sweet holiday romance!
This was so sweet and so sexy. A great best friends brother, forbidden (in their minds) love, no angst, holiday romance. This is just what I needed right now to get ready for the holidays. I loved this so much and listened to it in one listen. There was no way I could stop. All the characters are fantastic. Not just the 2 MCs. Even though it was fairly short it still was a nice gradual build to the romance. Even before they get together the sparks were instant and the sexual tension and chemistry between them was sizzling. My only complaint is I didn't want it to end.
Michael Dean did a fantastic performance as always. He brought the story to life expressing all the emotions wonderfully. He did all the different characters voices and they were all great.

A Sweet Christmas Romance
A sweet and cute Christmas novella, Beautiful Dreamer is a contemporary romance between two men who have known each other their entire lives. Garrett is best friends with Finn's younger brother, and their families are extremely close...except for Garrett and Finn. But a family Christmas vacation is the perfect setting to bring these men together and kindle the attraction between them that's been brewing for a while. I enjoyed this book. It was sweet and full of the magical notes that make Christmas books so wonderful. The audiobook was narrated by Michael Dean who does a fabulous job with the narration. All in all, this is a great book for the holiday season.

Sweet Christmas Second Chance
My favorite part of this story was when Finn sees the mature, grown-up Garrett and starts to realize he really wants a second chance with this man he's always thought of as a "kid". An age gap that seems insurmountable when you're young, becomes meaningless as adults. Michael Dean did a great job of showing us their deepening relationship over the family holiday.
