Summary
How do we set aside race, colour, creed, class, age, religion, sexual orientation, physicality and all of our perceived differences?
Is it truly possible to live without prejudice?
And why should we want to?
Offering six stories and six simple steps, Diversify explores the value we place on social packaging - how it shapes the way we see ourselves, determines who we become and limits the opportunities available to us.
Most importantly, it offers practical tools, empowering us to challenge those limitations and diversify.
Combining sharp observations, fascinating case studies and interviews with key political, cultural and business leaders, Diversify is a fierce, accessible, credible and proactive guide to how we can beat social division - and reach our potential as a society.
Written by June Sarpong, MBE, with accompanying research from Dr Anthony Heath and Oxford University.

A good starting point for discussions on diversity
Such a complex topic that certainly cannot be covered in detail in one book alone

Best book on equality.
My politics is somewhere between Douglas Murray and June Sarpong. There are parts I disagree with however I think this issue is extremely important. How we go about it, I find is often hijacked by groups who have their own agenda. June Sarpong not only keeps a moderate view but backs up her opinion with decent facts and examples. This book does not get the recognition it should.

Thought Provoking
If you keep up to date with current affairs you will think there is nothing you don’t already know however June has a way of illustrating her points which is thought provoking. How is it that as a human race we are so similar and yet so different? Can we as individuals do anything about it that would make a difference?

June Sarpong for Prime Minister!
This is a balanced and thought provoking book on how we can work on ourselves first, and then take that out in to society to make changes there.
Alongside often uncomfortable insights and truths, and dialogue on checking our bias, the idea of being willing to engage with people with different political views to ourselves feels particularly important right now. At a time when deep divisions are being stoked in to violence, we need understanding and open dialogue more than ever. Please read this book.

A must-listen
Even though I feel I’m quite conversant, personally & professionally, about the issues raised by June Sarpong, she eloquently identified issues and ways for further self-improvement & understanding- particularly with her “follow-up” questions. Looking forward to re-visiting in the short & long-term future to reflect if changes have been made in the world - by me & further afield, esp post-Covid.

Excellent
Excellent, loved reading about the difference points of views and things to consider, and the economic and cultural enrichment benefit to everyone (backed by oxford university’s research).
