Summary

Can you hear it? Can you hear his song? He is coming…

The quiet northern Swedish town of Kurrajakk is rocked when a popular teenager is found dead, mounted on a sacrificial altar, body covered in strange cuts, a crow shoved down his throat. Rumors begin to swirl. A local ghost story, Krakornås Kung, The King Of Crows, is back.

Jamie left the Violent Crimes department in Stockholm to rebuild her life. Her body. Her mind. To get away from cases like this. But Jamie can’t let injustice go unpunished – and now, she’s all out of compassion. The King may think Kurrjakk is his for the taking, but he’s never met Jamie Johansson.

As strange occurrences begin to plague the town, the residents are whipped into paranoia. Jamie and her new partner must race to unmask the King, but find themselves at the center of a deadly game. The rules are simple – survive. But when your greatest enemy is your own mind, winning isn’t so easy....

Death Chorus is the fourth novel in the DI Jamie Johansson series, and the chilling follow-up to Old Blood.

My god!

The hits just keep coming. Jamie - what a star and no corny love twist.
The narrator had me on the edge of my seat. A superb escape, keeps you thinking with interest of the characters and a twisting plot. All brought to life by the multiple characters of the narrator.

Frightening

What a gruesome story and riveting at the same time. One of the best stories I have heard for a long time. The characters are so strong and independent

Very good overall

A real fan of this series. This one seems rather more complex than the other ones in terms of the characters which can make following everything on an audiobook a bit tricky. Still very good though!

Another captivating book from Morgan Greene

Trouble certainly follows DI Jamie Johansson. Yet again enjoyed listening to the next in this series with an eerie psychological edge. Look forward to next one!

Outstanding

So Jamie has relocated to a small northern town for a quieter life which works fine for four months but then BANG ... things start getting really weird when a young man is found murdered in a most bizarre fashion.

This is everything you'll have been waiting for in the forth installment in this fabulous series.

If you're a fan, this is un-missable and if you're new to this author, then go back and look for books 1-3 as well.

with every book the storyline become more and more implausible . Loved The Angel Maker but on 3rd book now and finding it tedious.

I enjoyed the first two books in the series but not this one.

The story was frankly unbelievable and it is getting a bit tiring having Jamie go off on her own all the time. I like police procedural crimes where they work as a team and follow real clues. Disappointing.
