About this listen
Have you always struggled with procrastination, getting your tasks organized, or meeting deadlines?
Do you often find yourself feeling intensely restless and fidgety while spending long hours in the classroom or doing lengthy homework?
It’s time to stop blaming yourself for not feeling and behaving like others. The truth is, it’s not you—it’s ADHD or EFD. Those with ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and EFD, or executive function deficit, are considered neurodivergent. This means that your brain works differently from what is considered typical. It also explains why the grueling challenges of adolescence—such as hormonal and physical changes, peer pressure, increasing academic expectations, and a highly digital environment—appear to be extremely magnified in your case.
Sadly, there is no cure for ADHD or EFD, but it doesn’t mean you are a hopeless case. There are plenty of ways to retrain your brain so you can manage your symptoms better, cope with daily struggles, and improve your quality of life. Find out exactly what happens inside your brain, so you’ll learn how to properly deal with your condition.
Once you’ve learned how to take control of your condition—instead of the other way around—you’ll know that all your hard work is worth it. And you’ll enjoy a healthy, productive, and successful life in the years to come.
If you want to rewire your brain to thrive—not just survive—in your adolescence, then you should listen to this audiobook right now.

I found this book full of reliable strategies to help teens excel if they have ADHD (must be diagnosed by a physician). I appreciated the step-wise approach and easy way to navigate back to areas of interest. Thank you!!

Excellent
If you are a teenager with ADHD or even a parent with an adolescent child then this book is a fountain of knowledge. Having had a teen son with this mental problem I can tell you to focus on chapter 6 on social skills. It will warn of the down side of social media and how to leave it behind and use other social tact's. This chapter focuses on schooling and education and little tips that you wouldn't even think of. to get you through the day There is a chapter on time management and prioritization which is something that you can take into your working life so kudos to the author here. I really liked the narration as it seemed empathetic to the challenges ADHD can bring. Recommended

Great Tool
The teachers and I have been noticing my son struggles to stay focused and has a hard time staying on task at school. Though it wasn't discussed my mind went to ADHD concerns so I started to read up. I enjoyed the book and I am hoping to implement some of those key things discussed in the book into our lives to see if it will help him to focus.

Valuable information!
LOVED this!. The author does an excellent job of explaining these disorders and provides practical strategies for dealing with them. What sets this book apart is the way it feels like you're having a conversation with an expert who truly understands what you're going through. The narration is outstanding, with both the author and the narrator speaking with a compassionate and encouraging voice that really resonates. They clearly understand the difficulties of ADHD and EFD and offer practical steps for teens to overcome these challenges, such as goal setting and completion.
What I also appreciated was how the author emphasized the importance of self-care and stress management, something often overlooked in traditional academic settings. The book goes beyond just explaining the disorders and delves into mindfulness techniques that are easily understood by teens but are also valuable for adults trying to help their ADHD child handle life's pressures and chaos in manageable ways. Great job by the author! 5 stars!

Great Strategies to try!
This book was definitely for me. I liked the different strategies to try to help especially the one about setting a timer as a little challenge to get the task done. I agree, it is hard to get started. Also identifying the problem and coming up with possible solutions helps. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book if you need help getting organized so you feel better.

You manage your brain
ADHD certainly gives you things to handle that may be unique, but I love the attitude of this book. Here, a teen with ADHD gets empowered. They come out of this book believing that they are in charge of their brain, their brain is not in charge of them. This book has tips that helps them (and anyone with ADHD really), to manage their brain and care for themselves.

A big support for teens with ADHD!
I'm so glad to find a good quality of book which can help my son understand his condition and help him get through his teenage period.
We tried many different kinds of methods how to train my son to focus better especially with books but because of his disorder, he cannot focus for a long time so reading is out. We were so glad to find this content so he can listen to it anytime and as he said it is easier for him to focus he feels like he can do more things in the same time and learn about his disorder too.
This book helped him understand his ADHD and help him with different kinds of pieces of advice and methods on how to keep himself organized and help with his hyperactivity and focusing issues.
It is a definitely recommended guide for whoever suffers from ADHD!

Good, practical tips for teens with ADHD
This book is full of practical tips for teens with ADHD to help them control their minds and their lives in a variety of situations. It gives good background on why the brain with ADHD thinks and acts the way it does, but the information given is done is everyday terms and is easy to understand. I think this book will be a good tool for teens who are soon to be heading out into the world "on their own," and will help them become successful, productive, and even thriving adults.
