Summary
Since my ex, I desired no one - until I saw her: my new neighbor.
Lydia is not my type. She's a loving, caring single mother. I can tell that I’m not exactly her type, either. I'm a young, broken boxer. But I know that we need each other. I need to pleasure her, kiss her, own her, and most importantly, protect her.
As for her, I think she just needs to be reminded of just how beautiful she still is....
This is a full-length, stand-alone, older woman-younger man Christmas romance with a happily ever after.

Boxer next door.
Loved listening to the audiobook, the story was great Lydia had a bad time trying to forget her husband that divorced her without a reason why.
Then narrator was clearly spoken and easy to understand.

Great story
Boxer Next Door is a charming love story with appealing characters. Lydia is a divorced single mom and an attorney who meets her younger neighbor, Ken, the owner of a boxing studio. I thought they had a passionate connection with strong chemistry. The narration by Evelyn Marcail is excellent, she portrayed the characters well. Overall this was an enjoyable listen. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Just no.
This story was frustrating on sooo many levels - I cant believe I managed to get through it. I hate fake positive reviews and all the ones on Goodreads must be from people who value being really nice, more than they value being honest and writing a useful and accurate review. I listen to audiobooks constantly (probably listened to nearly 2000 now) so inaccurate reviews really annoy me when finding new books/authors. Some minor spoilers below:
Lydia is so mopey and insecure about her age and that was just tiresome. I prefer heroines who aren’t perfect to just own and accept it, not whinge throughout the book.
Took them a week to realise they hadn’t been using condoms. WTF? It’s really not that hard to slip a condom into a scene and it still be sexy.
Scenes and conversations were so slow and dragged out. The author really needs a better editor.
The hero only trusted her after proof. Wouldn’t it have been better if he just believed in her?
The couple becoming close just wasn’t convincing and there wasn’t nearly enough interaction.
The ex-husband. WTF was all that about? Why tell his young son and not his wife? His choices? Just WHATTTTT? The author thought this ridiculousness up. If they do have an editor, they should be fired.
Just no. To this whole book. Uninspired, boring, and actively annoying.
And why is it called Boxer Next Door? That’s a bit of a misrepresentation. You don’t even find out until part way into the story he even does any boxing. The title is the equivalent to calling a book “Footballer Next Door” because he plays football with his mates on a Saturday.
