Summary
An irresistibly propulsive psychological crime novel with a brilliant premise. When a blind woman is the only witness to a horrific murder, she becomes the only person who can identify the killer.
She can't see the killer. But the killer can see her....
Naomi Hannah has been blind since birth. Struggling with living in a small, claustrophobic town, Naomi contemplates ending her life. But then she stumbles across the body of a young woman who has been brutally murdered. She senses someone else there at the scene - watching her. Naomi may not be able to see the killer's face, but she is still the only person who can identify him.
As the police begin hunting the person responsible and more victims are discovered, Naomi is forced to answer the question on which her fate hangs: why did the killer let her live?
In a town this small, the murderer must be close, perhaps even before her very eyes....

Did not enjoy
I really tried listening to this, as was recommended. Think it had a lot to do with the narrator, as I feel this should have been read with a female voice, my opinion obviously, but I found him really irritating so I did not finish and lost interest

Fantastic and amazing book with lots of twists.
This book was recommended to me by a friend who had decided to try some new authors out. As a blind person myself after reading the description of the book it grabbed me. The author either did some good research or he's had experience of being around blind people although I have to say his portrayal was not 100 percent accurate. Most people who have been totally blind from birth would not be able to write print. I am not saying that it would not be possible but as someone who has been totally blind from birth myself it's something I can't see being possible. However the story itself was fantastic and I really enjoyed it very much. I had my suspicion who the killer might be early on and although I was write it gives me chills to think that the police don't really know the truth. Please don't read this review if you have not read the book, however due to what was found out at the end I would like to see a sequel so that the real killer can be brought to justice and Naomey won't have to live a lye anymore. I did not see that twist at the end coming and it does leave you on a cliff hanger will there ever be a sequel and will dane ever be found out?
