Different but enjoyable
I enjoyed listening to this book, the narration was good and the character voices fun. The story kept me entertained while painting.

A decent read
This book seemed to have everything. Good characters - loved the 2 short stories associated to this. The lead character was strong. A decent concept. However it was missing something. Just read his latest Devotion and that was great. Classic DK. So read this one and enjoy, but don’t expect a classic

it started good but then seed to fall short
I like a lot of the parts that makes up this story but it feels like they were put together in a rush.
The overall story ends up feeling like a joke and i honestly can't recommend it.
great narration though.

I’m breathless!
I was cynical about having a female narrator for a male author’s work, but Suzy’s performance totally dissolved the wall between reality and fantasy. Koontz effortlessly weaves philosophy, mystery and magic into a story revolving around the hero we all want to be. Highly recommended!

Good Story, but
The narrator made me cringe. Somebody teach her pronunciation of the words too big for her. I had to listen with gritted teeth.
Other than that, overwritten and schmaltzy, as expected, but a rattling good tale, as expected.

Good but not gripping
Huge fan of Dean Koontz but this one just didn't do it for me. Well written and well narrated and still worth a listen if your a fan. Maybe it's just that I prefer his older work

Don’t bother
This is far too long and nowhere near his best. I wouldn’t bother with this book.
