About this listen
All I’ve ever wanted to do was write good music and sing my heart out, but my father expects different from his eldest son.
No matter how hard I try, I can't please him and be who I really am.
But everything changed the night a hot little city girl showed up at our local bar. Her skirt was tight, and her heels were high, but she was classy - a business woman. A talent agent.
I couldn’t help but notice the way she watched me as I stood on the stage, my guitar and a mic my only companions.
What did she want from me? A long night of passion?
The cold steel of the hood of my truck pressed to her back, and my warm hard body tucked against her front?
I couldn’t tell for sure, but it didn’t matter.
Outside of ranching and singing, I started to yearn for one thing...her.
David Dawson is the oldest brother of the rowdy Dawson boys, and the one his father depends on most to help run the family ranch. Unfortunately, he’s far more interested in playing music than baling hay. He plays at the local bar and gets lucky one night. A beautiful talent agent happens to be passing through the city, and she’s desperate to find talent. Lucky, lucky girl. In more ways than one.
This is a stand-alone, full-sized novel in the Dawson Brothers’ series (eight books total). Each book focuses on a different brother/cousin. HEA is guaranteed, no cheating or violence.

Good characters
I really enjoyed the way Ali has written these characters. They felt real and true. With a simple pure storyline it was a pleasure to listen to. A great performance from Christopher

Always on My Mind
This is the first book in The Dawson Brothers series. David is the oldest of the Dawson brothers. He loves singing and performing. He dreams to make it big in the music industry and get off his family farm. This was a sweet southern cowboy romance with a touch of spice. This does end in a HFN. Can't to see which brother is next. Christopher Solon did a fabulous job narrating.

David: the singer
David is the eldest of his brothers. He lives with his brothers and parents at their family ranch, but he loves singing and doesn’t want to be a rancher much less be the boss. Sarah comes into town and finds talent. She is an agent, so David becomes her target. Things get derailed when their chemistry brings them together. It’s all about dreams, family, legacy and sweet romance. I fell for David lol but Sarah gets to keep him. Can’t wait to see which brother is next. Chris Solon did a great job narrating.

Always On My Mind.
Loved the book it was great, it was a feel good sweet story about Sara and David Dawson and his brothers. Sara works for an entertainment firm, she was on her way home when she noticed a small town, she decided to stay the night at the pub. Sara was drinking on her own at the pub when David and his band started playing, she loved his voice she was so impressed with him she decided on waiting to talk to him when she started getting harassed by a guy. David noticed Sara, then noticed she was getting harassed, he done the gentlemen thing and went and rescued her. Now Sara has to talk him into going with her to the company she works for. David is the oldest between him and his brothers they have the family farm to help out with and to David that was more important than singing his songs.

Wonderful!
Always on My Mind, the first book in the Dawson Brothers series is a nicely written Western/country boy and city girl romance. The storyline is sweet, centering on family, love, hopes, dreams, career, and with the right amount of drama. The main characters are appealing, likable, and easy to invest in. Sarah is a spitfire, independent and successful talent agent; David is the eldest Dawson brother, attractive, charming, talented, and aspiring singer. The attraction between them is undeniable, and chemistry is electrifying.
Christopher Solon did an excellent job capturing and bringing the characters to life. Always on My Mind was an enjoyable romance, and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

A singling to your heart story
Book 1 in the story by Ali Parker. I like how she mixed up the characters. A country boy who a city girls falls four
Hero is David. Heroine is Sarah
David is a cowboy who has a fantastic voice. He does what he loves to do ,,, which is to sing his heart out . Sarah by chance hears him doing a song. Sarah is also a talent seeker and right away she wants to sign him. Along the way Sarah loses her heart to David.
Christopher Solon did Justice to this story. His voice is smooth and clear and strong
